Graphic 45 Journal cover

These Graphic 45, Curtain Call, papers, from Scottie Crafts, are perfect for a travel journal cover or diary cover. I picked up a plain journal from the $2 shop and it has a whole new look with the Graphic 45 papers and Tim Holtz photostrip die and ticket die and stamp and, of course, some Glossy Accents. The Prima flower is taken off one of the Prima necklaces and then I have used the rest of the ribbon with the beads on, as a page marker.
Cheers, x

The Kiss

My Scottie Crafts kit this month included some of the classy Curtain Call Collection from Graphic 45. One side of these papers has traditional Graphic 45 images and the other side has wonderful co-ordinating background patterns which are perfect for anything from heritage, wedding, travel or male layouts.
Add some brads and you have the perfect layout for this fortnights challenge  at Southern Girls! ( Go check it out!!)

Other bits and pieces (that are also available or can be ordered from Scottie Crafts) include Prima products: flowers, swirls, chipboard, pink patterned paper, Martha Stewart punches, Tim Holtz ticket stamp, ticket die and distress inks, pearl brads and a doily. The rosette ribbon from my stash, has been dyed pink using Tim Holtz Distress ink, Worn Lipstick and Glimmermist.

Loving these colours!

We had a great day/night at Scottie Crafts marathon crop yesterday! This is one of the layouts I did based on this weeks sketch from Sketchy Thursdays. If you are looking for great sketches, pop on over here and check them out!

These papers, alphabet and the Martha Stewart punch all come from the wonderful, friendly Scottie Crafts shop!

My wee charmer is now 28 years old and certainly later went through some not-so-charming stages! But he was a gem of a baby, always happy and a smile for everyone! This photo was taken in 1983 when there was no digital and photos cost a fortune to develop! How I wish I had more photos of the kids when they were young!

Fun challenge

This layout is a fun challenge I have done with my friend Karen. We had to use a Sketchy Thursdays sketch, a stamp (the little bird), a mask ( I masked and spritz the MS lace punch border) and a transparency.
I decided to use the the colour scheme, 'black with a splash of pink and green' to enter the monthly challenge at Deb's Creations.
Cheers, Sue x

SGC - Colour: Blue and Chocolate

I loved doing the DT layout for this fortnights challenge at Southern Girls. I felt like doing 'pretty' and wanted to use a few of the laces and ribbons that I collected while in Portland just before Christmas. On our way home we stopped off at San Franisco and I picked up the gorgeous heart and lace crocheted doily at Chinatown.

Pop on over and check out the other awesome DT projects and then join in for some awesome prizes!

Have you made a card for your Valentine?

My second project, using the Bo Bunny Crush papers is a Valentines card. The Tim Holtz Birdcage diecut has been painted with Distress Crackle paint and then coated with Glossy Accents. I’ve added lots of Kindy Glitz here and there to add a little sparkle. You can check out Scottie Crafts for any of these great products!

Love is in the air!

February is the month of LOVE and Scottie Crafts has lots of the perfect papers to scrap the ones you love! In my kit, this month, were several Bo Bunny Crush papers and embellishments perfect for making cards, layouts or OTP projects.  Below is the first of my 4 projects using this range. I love this photo, taken at our family Christmas. It is so rare to get so many of the cousins together now that they are all in their late teens or twenties and several of them living overseas. Only 2 were missing. Sooo…we lined them all up for a little photoshoot!
The red flourish has been cut using the Paper Lace Cricut cartridge and the flourish and title have been covered with Glossy Accents. The punch used on the RH side of the photo is an EK Success punch. Under the doily is a flower cut using the Tim Holtz Tattered flowers die. I have tucked a little journaling tag in behind the photo.  All these products are available, or can be ordered, from Scottie Crafts.
