SENZ

Well, SENZ is fast approaching and I am feeling a little excited because this year I am teaching a class! As my friends know, I just love sharing new ideas! I also love making my own flowers! So.. I have been playing with so many cool ideas and techniques to make lots of fabulous flowers for a handmade flower class!!
We ( at Scotties) have also come up with a cool clear box to carry them home in as well.
Here is a little sneak peek of some of the flowers:
I have been doing the odd LO and OTP as well, to give ideas on how to use all these beautiful blooms!!
If you are heading to SENZ and would like to join me at this class, just go to the Scottie Crafts website for the details.
Have a great day xx

Gorgeous Glitz Designs

I am loving using these Glitz papers and all their cool embellishments!
On this layout I have used a Prima mask and a Studio Calico colour mist (loving these also) on the Glitz background paper. I have then added a Glitz transparency (calendar), Glitz PP punched with a Martha Stewart border punch, GD Glitzers and Giant rhinestone. The flower is sacking sprayed with the Studio Calico colour mist and Prima paper, cut with TH Tattered flower die and a Prima flower on top. 'Adore' is cut using the Home Decore Cricut cartridge. Pop over to Scottie Crafts and grab any of this yummy stuff for your stash!!

Loving Glitz Designs

I just love the new Glitz Design papers that have arrived at Scottie Crafts! They are just a little bit different and come with fabulous extras, such as clear stamps, transparent overlays and paper layers and transparent stickers with bling. The colour combinations are gorgeous!

Here is my first layout with this months kit.

The flower at the bottom right is stamped canvas. The little girl, flags, heart and words are cut from the paper layers. I have layered 2 of the tranparent bling stickers, upper left of the photo.
I am looking forward to playing with more of it!
Glitz Designs have started blog challenges, so I am putting this in the Challenge#2 Clustering

SGC- This ones for the girls!

Southern Girls have a great challenge for you this month - This ones for the girls! The DT have done awesome layouts and cards to inspire you, so head on over and check them out here and join in the fun with chances to win great prizes in the random draw!
Below is my layout using a Websters vellum, overlaid on a Prima paper and embellished with Sassafrass papers! Such a mix! The word stamp on the left is Tim Holtz and the very cute little digi stamp image, Little Honeys Tinkerbell, is from one of this week's sponsors, Sassy Studios.

Scottie Crafts new product

Scottie Crafts has some exciting and gorgeous product that has just arrived. I just happened to be in the shop at the time and able to help unpack!!!
Check out the gorgeous Kaisercraft diecut frame, the stunning Melissa Frances vintage embellishments (in this layout - the frame) and the very cute glitter rub-ons. There is a great range of these E-Z rub-ons that are very easy to apply and inexpensive. I have used the Chicksdees on this layout. I applied them to acetate because I wanted them to sit on the chunky frame. The large flower is one of my collection of handmade flowers that just gives a little soft touch.
