This layout is for the Let's Get Sketchy Wk2 May

LO for Stuck Sketches and K K #25 Colour Challenge

I am really not good at doing layouts with myself in them, but it is a moment I want to record and look back on! These little cuties grow so fast! But because I am in the LO I tended to do it quickly, without too much detail, so I can move on. Weird!?

I used the Stuck! May 1st Sketch and the colour wheel at Kreative Koncepts challenge #25.

LO for Paper Secrets -May

It is fun doing a sketch that has an added twist to make it more of a challenge! Paper Secrets has one of these fun challenges.

And the twist is to have something starting with each letter in a word. This month it is 'SHOWER'.

S- Silhouette cut title, stencil
H- Hearts
O- Overlay (scallop frame)
W- Wooden embellishment (white heart)
E- Enamel dots
R- Rub-ons ( so good to use these MM rub-ons I have had in my stash for years!!)

Just might be about to light our first fire tonight! A real nip in the air!

Keep cosy!
Cheers,
Sue :)

Scrap and Play & Scrap around the World

Scrap and Play is a new challenge blog and this is their very first challenge!! A sketch!
I have combined it with the bright mood board at Scrap Around the World. Inspired by the colours and glitter/gold on the balloons.

These little cousins are lucky enough to live close enough to see each other often. I just love watching them together!!

Have a great day!
Cheers,
Sue :)

123 Get Scrappy - May

Our next challenge is up at 123 Get Scrappy! There are so many options to create a fabulous layout with this awesome tic-tac-toe board!
I chose to use the RH column - rectangle shapes, gears or cogs, blue background

I am also putting this layout into the challenge at Off the Rails - to use stripes and polka dots. I have only just found this challenge site and they not only have great challenges, but wonderful tutorials and layouts from a very talented DT!
And while we are on dots, check out the challenge at Southern Girls.

Check out these great challenge sites and the DT samples!

Sue :)

OUAS and Sassy Scrappers

Madison just loves her own little sunglasses!
For this layout I have used the sketch/journalling challenge at Once Upon A Sketch and the
May Mood Board from Sassy Scrappers (inspired by the gorgeous colours, stars and butterflies)

We are still enjoying gorgeous sunny days! Its great!! This time last year we were lighting the fire.
Long may it last!

Sue :)

LO for Sketchabilites #114

Favourite day of the week is swimming lesson day!! And how cute do I look in my new, little strawberry togs?!!

Karan Gerber has another awesome sketch up at Sketchabilities:

I am also putting this layout into the Friday challenge at Frosted Designs: I used the words 'bright' (colours), 'blue', 'green' and 'new' (first swim in new swimsuit). I love the variety FD have in their challenges!

And my take:

Have a great weekend everyone!
Sue :)
