Blog hop LGS

Welcome to the Lets Get Sketchy/Picture This “ My One Word” Blog Hop.  You should have come from                                            Carolyn‘s blog.  If you have stumbled across this by chance and want to play along then you can head back to the Let's Get Sketchy site to start at the beginning and to start collecting your challenge words.

So, the 'one word' title I have chosen for my layout is: Adore
I just adore this pic of these two wee cousins holding hands after we have had a lovely extended family brunch at a local winery.

If you play along with our hop challenge you can be in to win the wonderful prize from our sponsor, Creative Embellishments! If you get lost along the way, head on back over to Let’s Get Sketchy for the line up!

My challenge word, if you are joining our blog hop,
is 'ENEMY'. (This word is part of a quote, but you only need the words)

Next up on the hop is Laetitia,  http://triniti59760.blogspot.fr.  Make sure you hop on over to her blog to check out the wonderful inspiration she has for you. Don’t forget, each team member has a word hidden someone on their page, so make sure you grab all the words for your chance at an extra prize!

Cheers! And good luck!
Sue :)

SIT (Project Life)

There is an exciting new challenge blog, Sketches In Thyme Project Life Style, with sketches for Pocket Scrapbookers, but that can be used for inspiration for cards or layouts also.
I am a layout girl, but love to do a December Daily Diary, so I have used Wk1 and Wk 2 sketches for inspiration for my first 2015 DD cards.

It is hard not using the gorgeous colours on the Scrap The Girls moodboard, because I have so many photos this month just calling those colours! i have also taken inspo from the wood backgrounds and feathers.
I decided to join in the scrap lift challenge at The Studio Challenges and have taken the sketch/design and washi tape features etc from Elisabetta's layout.

LO for Sassy Scrappers and Jot

Its getting late in the month, but enough time to do another layout! I have spent a few days this week trying to de-stash! But, it is cool to also find stuff you haven't seen in years!! Hahaha! Like this Basic Grey, Euphoria paper and the MME, Penny Lane transparency, that I have used in this layout!

So, I have used the colours from the beautiful mood board over at Jot magazine and combining it with the challenge at Sassy Scrappers -a sketch and word (Spring) challenge. So far, our spring has been more dark clouds than sunshine!

Looking forward to a sunny October!
Cheers,
Sue :)

I am also putting this into the Anything Goes challenge at Clique Kits. If you haven't visited this site, it is a must if you are looking to be inspired!

Smile - SATW, Charm's Creations P & P

The board at Scrap Around the World this month is gorgeous!! I love the vintage feel and soft colours. I have used the colours in a beach theme because I wanted to scrap this lovely pic my daughter sent me from their recent trip to Rarotonga. But I added the lace, wooden embellishments and a gorgeous vintage heart from Charm's Creations.
I have also used the sketch from the September Challenge at Charm's Creations.

The Scrap Around the World mood board:

The Charm's Creations sketch that I rotated because I had a portrait photo:

Hope you all have a great scrappy week!
Cheers,
Sue :)
