I was wanting to do this challenge at D-Lish Scraps, all month, but because I like to keep up with the grandies current photos, I was waiting for the right one! Well, thanks to my daughter-in-law who sent through this pic, a couple of days ago! Just in time!!
I found this a bit of a challenge because I kept wanting to add more colours!! But it was fun going through my stash looking for papers and embellies in yellow, grey and black!
Little Miss M is so loving that her little sister is getting bigger enough to play with!!
I used Sketch #152 by Rochelle Spears at Sketches in Thyme for this layout and was inspired by the quote and blue, lime and pink colour scheme on the Sassy Scrappers mood board.
Ashley Horton has done the coolest sketch for the June 15th challenge at Scrap Our Stash! Perfect for this pic of my DD and GD's!! Love!!
I am also putting it into the "Anything Goes" challenge at Clique Kits. I love their site!!
Also you had to make a card from the scraps! The little heart shapes are from the centre of the balloon hearts and the papers from the same piece of Webster's Pages, These are the Days, paper that the quote was on. The Happy Birthday sticker (which actually does show on the '2') has been in my stash for many years!!
We are wet and wild here, at the moment, in New Zealand. Perfect weather to scrap!!
My granddaughters were off to a cousin's birthday party, with the theme "Frozen". Miss M already had a 'Frozen' dress, but not wee Miss C, so my daughter got together some fabric, ribbon and Prima resist flowers and made her an outfit! How cute did she look?!
If you would like to see more close-ups of this very cute outfit, visit my daughter's blog, HERE. I think it is so clever and sooo cute!! She also shows matching present wrapping and a card that she made. Very cool!
Scrap the Girls is a new challenge blog for me! I stumbled across it on someone else's blog and was instantly drawn to the colours in this amazing moodboard.
I have teamed it with the awesome sketch at Sketchabilities! I love Karan's sketches!
Suddenly realised it is June 1st and I need to get this blogpost done!! The Week 1 sketch is up at Let's Get Sketchy!!
My son and daughter-in-law have just had a wonderful holiday in Thailand. Their first stop was Ho Chi Minh.
I am looking forward to seeing everyone's take on this weeks sketch:
