Poolside - Scrap the Girls

Such a gorgeous mood board at Scrap the Girls this month. I have actually done 2 layouts using it, but, one is waiting for a photo of a new granddaughter who is 3 days overdue and still very cosy where she is!!
So, here is the other one: Sweet Chloe hasn't actually enjoyed the pool up until the last couple of weeks, but this week I did get these pics while she was still smiling!

The mood board: I was inspired by the scallops, circles and colours.

Have a great Anzac weekend.
Remembering those who died for our freedom.

Ooh Lala - Stuck?! and Berry71Bleu

Em and I took little Miss C with us on a trip to Spotlight and Freedom Furniture. We got her out of the car and she insisted on wearing her sister's handbag (seeing that she was safely away at Kindy and wouldn't know!). We couldn't stop laughing at her cute little strut as she took off for the shops!

I have used the April 1st sketch at Stuck?! Sketches and inspiration from the gorgeous moodboard at Berry71Bleu.

The beautiful Berry71Bleu moodboard: I was inspired by the bling on the chandelier, the waisted dress and the soft pinks and golds. I cannot remember the last time I used bling!! So good to use some older stash!!

April ARTastic

The amazing painting this month at ARTastic is by Josh Miels.
The criteria is: Typography (using alphas, stencils, patterned papers)

For my layout, I was inspired by the grungy feel of the painting, the dark browns and the white lettering in the background. I used a TH stencil for the 'xoxoxo', and lots of patterned papers and embellishments with writing on.

We Will Remember by Josh Miels: It is a tribute to ANZAC, (Australia New Zealand Army Corps) called 'We Will Remember'.

Head on over here to check out the challenge and inspiring DT works.

Cheers,
Sue :)
