This month my kit from Scrapbook Studio included stunning papers from the Echo Park range, Sweet Summertime. These papers have very cool bright colours and designs. For my first LO I have used the sketch from over at Sketchy Thursday!

Sketchy Thursday LO
This is my take on this week's great sketch over at Sketchy Thursdays!
Lloyd and Jodie were over from Sydney for a few days and we decided to do a cruise down the Mahurangi River on the Jane Gifford. We get great views of our home from the river too. We often watch the "Jane", a recently restored huge old river scow, taking trips down the river. She is very impressive!
I used my new nestibilities stamp for the flower! Fun!
A little more Heritage
Another one of Grandfather's lovely photos of Nana, taken in the early 1920's.
I love this photo of Mum as a child playing nurses. Nana is the patient on a camp stretcher out in the garden. I would love to know if Nana really was unwell and getting some fresh air outside.

Overdue update!
Between doing layouts, I have made a few cards for special people! This first one was for Em's 25th birthday. A friend showed me a box she had made after seeing the idea on You Tube. I knew I had to have a play with this idea and this is my second one! I love how the butterflies dance when you open the box. They are attached with clear acetate and poked through slits in a false bottom.
This one is for my nephew and his wife who have just had a gorgeous baby daughter!
