Diamond Day at the races

Two weeks ago a group of Mum's and daughters had a wonderful, fun day out at the Races for Kate's Hen's day. The dress code of the day was, of course, dresses and fascinators (and in the case of the young ones, high, high heals!!).
The Glitz Designs, Pretty in Pink, papers were perfect for a layout of the gorgeous girls! I love these papers and all the cool embellishments that go with them! This month Glitz Designs have a challenge (check it out here) to use book paper and GD Paper Layers. I love these Layers papers. They are a cross between tissue and patterened paper.

I have used the papers behind the photo, but also used them to make all the flowers. The large flower centres are the gorgeous GD Giant Rhinestones. They are so cool!

The frame background was cut out using the Cricut Fancy Frames cart. I got all of these GD papers and embellies from Scottie Crafts new store in Ellice Rd, Glenfield.

Love my new lifejacket - LO by Emma

Southern Girls Challenge this fortnight is a colour combo - blue, red and yellow. Emma has done this very cute layout of their 'baby' with his new lifejacket. He loved it and had a great paddle around with Chris beside him. Emmas and Chris are hoping to get him confident enough to take him kayaking with them!
