My first baby Madison layout! She is gorgeous! So alert! This pic was taken when she was just 5 days old (20th Jan). No mistaking she is a girl with this layout! I think I may have overdone the pink!!
I have used the January 15th sketch over at 'Stuck!' sketches. Perfect sketch, really, seeing as it was put up on the day Madison was born!
Cheers,
Sue

New Beginning
I am a Nana!!! Oh, so exciting!!! Wee Madison is the cutest, most adorable little miracle! I am in love!!
Between trips to visit, everyday, with an evening meal to help out and more than my share of cuddles, I have done a layout of this "New Beginning". It is a new beginning for all our family and it has been a wonderful week!
Once Upon a Sketch has a challenge to showcase a 'New Beginning' using this months sketch.
I am so looking forward to scrapping a fast growing collection of precious baby photos!! But... cuddles first!!!
Love it!!
Cheers,
Sue :)

The Speech
Sketchabilities have another great sketch out and I have been wanting to scrap these photos of the entertaining speech our son gave at his wedding! ( before I have my first grandchild in a few days and any other photos get left on the shelf!)
I am using this months gorgeous Prima PPP for the colour scheme.
For the background I used the Prima ornamental gates mask and texture paste. I then sprayed some turquoise Perfect Pearls mist and Dylusions London Blue ink spray. It was brighter than I wanted, (bugger!) so I blended and toned it down a little with PanPastels, a dark grey and pale blue. I was quite pleased in the end!
We are having gorgeous weather at the moment, so I might just grab a magazine, a cup of tea, sit in the sun and try and put a little bit of colour into my lily-white legs!
Cheers,
Sue :)

Life is Good
New Year's morning, we woke up to the most glorious weather, not a cloud in the sky and warm sunshine without the humidity! So perfect!
One of my New Year's resolutions is to look at some of my older supplies with a new eye and use them!!
So, with this in mind, I looked at the 'ingredients' in the recipe challenge at Challenge Me Happy and pulled out some older supplies! The Basic Grey and Autumn leaves stamps were probably some of my first stamp purchases years ago! The Scenic Route cardstock stickers and Basic grey 'Hello Luscious' papers have been around for a while and how old is that Prima brad in my stamped flower centre? LOL!
The photo was taken early New Year's Day from my deck.
I think 2013 is going to be a wonderful year!
Cheers,
Sue :)
