Scrap and Play with a Kreative Koncepts sketch

I have some gorgeous newborn photoshoot pics to scrap!! The first couple of weeks are probably the only time you can get a wee one to stay where ever you put them, long enough to take a photo! After that, it is pot luck!!

I used the November sketch from Kreative Koncepts:


 and the word challenge #13 at Scrap & Play. The word is 'Thankful'. Very appropiate! We are certainly feeling very thankful for another gorgeous, healthy member to our family.

Let's Get Sketchy Wk1 and SGC

I love this pic of Blake and Jeff! So cute how B is holding Dad's chin! He is loving his day out on the boat with Mum and Dad!

For this layout I used the Week 1 sketch at Let's Get Sketchy for inspiration.

LO for Sketches in Thyme and 123Challenge

Blake at 13 months is such a little boy! Anything with a motor is instant joy! Here he is helping Mum clean the car! Dad wasn't impressed with the kitchen scrubber, but ,hey, who was doing the work?!!

The sketch I used is from Sketches in Thyme ( a new sketch blog for me!) and have combined it with the challenge over at 123 Challenge Blog. (some of my embellies look gold in the photo, but they are copper coloured!). Check out both these great challenges!

  

Off to turn off the lights and watch some fireworks! Guy Fawkes night!

Scrap and Play with Off the Rails

Dad loves his cars! So he decided it was time his baby had his first car!! He loves it!!

I used this months sketch at Scrap and Play, because I loved all the banners!
And I got more inspiration from the colours and wheel design on the October moodboard at Off the Rails.

                           

I have to include this photo I took a few days after this layout was done. Arm out the window! So darn cute!!

OUAS and Sassy Scrappers moodboard

This week we welcomed our newest, precious, baby girl, (my granddaughter) into our family!! So how perfect was the Once Upon a... Sketch theme to celebrate the women/girls in our lives.
And, the soft colours and femininity of the Sassy Scrappers moodboard was perfect for my photo of Chloe at 2 days old!

 

 Gosh, I love my time in life, being a Nana!! Its the best job out!! Snuggles and cuddles and still time to scrap my cuties!!

123 Get Scrappy mixed with D-Lish

There is a new tic-tac-toe challenge up at 123 Get Scrappy. Things beginning with the letter 'P'.
This challenge is great for combining with other challenges, so this month I have combined it with the delicious mood board and sketch from D-Lish Scraps:

  For my DT sample for 123 Get Scrappy, I used the first column, Pink, Polka Dots, Popiscle (sticks)

Inspiration from the D-Lish mood board include the sketch, colours, polka dots, aster flowers and the quote!

I am very excited and happy to have become Nana to another wee girl this week! More gorgeous babies to scrap! :)

My darling Grandson turned 1 last week! A friend made this beautiful cake and how lucky for the photographer (me!) that his clothing matched the cake so perfectly!!
So, one bright layout, ahead!!

Sketchabilities #122 & Off the Rails

For this layout I have used Karan Gerber's beautiful sketch at Sketchabilities and the colours from the September mood board at Off the Rails.

  

I love the cluster of hearts in the sketch!! And the gold in the colour palette!!

We have finally had a glorious Spring day here after some very 'unspring like' weather, so it has been wonderful to get out and and go for a walk!! Long may it last!!
