 I am also putting this into our Southern Girls Challenge (to use a diecut or punch)

Awesome fun at the park - SATW, PaperVine, Artfull Crafts

Aimee took this gorgeous pic of Blake at the top of a tunnel slide at our local park.

The mood board for March at Scrap Around the World is quite different to usual. I was inspired by the colours, graphic lines and chevrons.
PaperVine (a NZ online shop that sells lots of very cool embellishments) also has a challenge using blue, yellow and matching embellishments.
I used the sketch for the March challenge at Artfull Crafts (another awesome NZ scrapbooking store)

Psst... LGS, SOS

I love the 3 photo, vertical sketch at Let's Get Sketchy Week 2. I have combined it with the challenge at Scrap Our Stash, to include items from your stash for each letter in the word: Stencil.

 I thought it was time to check out a couple of our NZ challenge sites ( and great scrappy shops)! Artfull Crafts have a challenge this month to use ink and splatters.

It looks like Chloe and Frank are sharing a little secret!!

The LGS sketch:

T - Thickers letters
E - English Bulldog, embellishments
N - numbers (date)
C - cotton, Chloe
I - ink
L - lace doily, (word) love

After weeks (months even) of hardly any rain and gorgeous weather up in the northern parts of New Zealand, we are expecting our tanks to be filled and our gardens watered with the remnants of a cyclone that is at the moment bearing down on the poor people of Vanuatu. Thinking of them and friends in Fiji!

Totally feeling the love for Artastic and Sketches in Thyme

I loved the cheeky, cheery picture for the challenge this month at ARTastic. The criteria is to use a quote. I saw one in a home magazine, which was a picture frame with the words "being nice makes you cool" and thought it fitted my grandson and the fun colour scheme of the challenge.
The sketch I used is by Bev Code from the March challenge at Sketches in Thyme

I have just got a new Mac computer as my old IBM died and haven't yet worked out how to copy the pictures of the challenges from the challenge sites. Do miss the 'right click' button!! I can link the sites but not the pictures. If anyone has a Mac and can help please leave me a comment.
