Scottie Crafts has some exciting and gorgeous product that has just arrived. I just happened to be in the shop at the time and able to help unpack!!!
Check out the gorgeous Kaisercraft diecut frame, the stunning Melissa Frances vintage embellishments (in this layout - the frame) and the very cute glitter rub-ons. There is a great range of these E-Z rub-ons that are very easy to apply and inexpensive. I have used the Chicksdees on this layout. I applied them to acetate because I wanted them to sit on the chunky frame. The large flower is one of my collection of handmade flowers that just gives a little soft touch.

SGC - Emma's LO
I am posting a pic of this awesome layout, my daughter, Emma has done to add to her Frankies album! Arent the colours and design, cool? I love the buttons and brads and also the wee alphabets for journalling. She doesnt have a blog, so I am posting it here for entry into Southern Girls Challenge.

Autumn Escape
What a weekend! So much fun! It was so great to meet Carol, in person, after so long 'knowing her'! And Jane! I had the best travelling companion in Annelie, who kept me awake as we chatted the whole way there and back. My roomy and one of my table mates was the lovely Teryl and it was so cool catching up with so many other scrappy friends, Cherie, Ann, Lianne, Lisa ..... The work and organisation that Nic, Lucy and their team put into the retreat was really amazing!
Here is a layout that I did, for my local group challenge, 'Autumn' and a couple of AE photos.
Have a great Easter everyone!

Your Day - SGC and layout class
Southern Girls Challenge this fortnight is a sketch. An easy sketch for cardmakers or scrapbookers. There are great prizes up for grabs in the random draw, by our 3 awesome sponsors, Stampfairy for international entries and Sassy Cheryl's and Jonna Sheen for Aus/NZ entries. Below I have two takes on the sketch, a card and a layout, but go check out the other great samples here!
I am also running this layout as a class at Scottie Crafts on May 5th. If you would like to join in email Adrienne at Scotties, customerservice@scottiecrafts.co.nz.
Have a great week,

Challenge yourself!
This fortnight, Southern Girls Challenge is all about animals! So start scrapping that favourite pet or find your cutest bit of animal whimsey to stamp up a cute card! The DT have some great examples posted, several , using the very cute stamps from one of this fortnight's sponsors, Teddy Bo.
For my layout I used the sketch and theme - use a song title - put up by Bird's of a Feather. Pop over and check out their February challenge, also.
I have used lots of the all new, yummy, Prima from the awesome range that has arrived at Scottie Crafts. Check it out on-line or pop in and visit the lovely ladies in pink!!!

March challenge at Scottie Crafts
OK! This month we have a recipe for you. You can, of course add any extra ingredients, to make a delicious creation!
Basic Ingredients:
2 sheets patterned paper
some masking or stencilling
a hidden journalling tag
2 items of Prima goodness
Here is my creation:
The stencil I have used on the background is a Crafter's Workshop, which I have dabbed with different Tim Holtz inks. Scottie Crafts has a great range of all this product.
My hidden journalling tag is on the left ( a little hard to see)
To be in the draw to win a RAK, head on over to Scottie Crafts and leave a comment on their blog with a link to your blog or an online gallery or email a pic of your creation to customerservice@scottie crafts.

Add more flowers with Southern Girls
I am thinking that the only challenge this fortnight over at Southern Girls is going to be for the DT choosing and commenting! The topic is Add More Flowers! A real challenge for any cardmaker or scrapbooker...err...not!
Anyway here is my example. I decided to make it my challenge to do a boy LO using flowers. All flowers are handmade. I used the sketch from Scottie Crafts Feb challenge.

Looking forward to seeing a whole garden of flowers in this weeks gallery.
