Totally feeling the love for Artastic and Sketches in Thyme

I loved the cheeky, cheery picture for the challenge this month at ARTastic. The criteria is to use a quote. I saw one in a home magazine, which was a picture frame with the words "being nice makes you cool" and thought it fitted my grandson and the fun colour scheme of the challenge.
The sketch I used is by Bev Code from the March challenge at Sketches in Thyme

I have just got a new Mac computer as my old IBM died and haven't yet worked out how to copy the pictures of the challenges from the challenge sites. Do miss the 'right click' button!! I can link the sites but not the pictures. If anyone has a Mac and can help please leave me a comment.

Hello beautiful using Stuck sketches and Pixels and Paper

Pixels and Paper have a really gorgeous inspiration photo for this months challenge!! I love the colour combo of the mint green, pale pink and gold! I used the February 1st Stuck?! Sketch  (turned) to do this layout of Miss M, feeling very pretty in her tutu and cowgirl boots!

  

  

Sorry, I have no close- ups this time and the quality of the photo is not great, but have had to do this from my iPad , as my computer needs repairing..

LGS Wk2 Helping Dad build our kitchen

Jeff, Aimee and Blakey are in their new house, but there is still plenty to do to finish it. Most of the work left to do is cabinet making! Kitchen, bathroom vanities etc. Who is the cabinet maker? Jeff!! He is so busy at work that his own kitchen etc is the part-time job! Fortunately it is summer because cooking on the barbie every night wont be fun in the winter!

Follow your heart for OTR and Sketchablities

Madi is right into dressing up at the moment and on this day, she was coming to visit Nannie and had to wear a tutu and the cowboy boots hat Pop bought her on a recent visit to the States.
Off the Rails had another gorgeous moodboard which was perfect for her gorgeous curls, floaty tutu and pretty soft colours. I used the Jan 30th Sketch at Sketchabilities as a jumpstart.

Love this face LO

For this layout I have used the February 1st sketch from Sketches In Thyme and combined it with the challenge at Scrap Our Stash, using items from the word: WASHI

 

W - Washi (word LOVE), A- alphabet chipboard letters, S- sequins, sewing, H- hearts, I- ink (pen and ink pad for doily stamp)
