I picked up these gorgeous Echo Park, Be Mine papers from Scottie Crafts on Friday and just had to use them right away! So, the bulging wedding album has just grown by another page!
I love Tim Holtz little filmstrip, so printed a whole bunch of thumbnail photos to stick behind it. The title is cut from the Martha Stewart Elegant cake cricut cartridge and the frame from the Wild Card cartridge. Added some lace, a wedding fabric bow and lots of stickles! Gotta hope Prima keep bringing out those gorgeous floral stems!
I'm going to post this in Deb's Creations Feb LO Challenge - New Beginnings
Have a great day,
Sue x

Southern Girls Challenge - Emboss it!
Head over to Southern Girls Challenge and check out the great projects the DT have done for this fortnights theme ... Emboss it! And ...then... whip up your own project and enter the draw for some great prizes from Digital Delights, and Scrapbook Dreams!
This is my first real attempt at colouring a digital stamp. I have really been wanting to try a little colouring after seeing what amazing cards the other DT girls do. So much fun!!
The flesh colours are so hard to find in inks, so I HAD to buy some copic markers to do the job!!
The rest of my colouring has been done mainly with Brilliance and Ranger Distress ink pads and a blending brush. This cute image is from one of our sponsors, this month, Digital Delights.
The frame is a cricut cut - Wild card cartridge. The embossed label shape is rubbed with TH distress, clear embossing powder and then Gesso.
Kinda chuffed with it really!

Bird's of a feather challenge
Carol and Sonya over at Bird's of a Feather have posted a sketch challenge. This is my take on the sketch. Pop over, have a look and join in the fun!
Part of the challenge was to use a punch, a stamp and chipboard. I have used a Martha Stewart punch and stamped a Tim Holtz ticket stamp on chipboard. The circle journalling spot is also stamped.
I love these My Mind's Eye, The Lost and Found papers, which I got from Scottie Crafts. Scottie Craft's also has the TH stamps and a great selection of Martha Stewart punches. Go check them out here!

SGC #10
Head over to the Southern Girls Challenge blog and check out all the great DT projects for this fortnights challenge - Valentines! They have all used stamps from our awesome sponsors for this challenge, Pink Cat Studio for International entries and Tickled Pink Stamps for NZ/Aus entries.
Even though we have a lot of cardmakers, we would love to see more scrapbooking and OTP entries! And more Kiwi girls (and guys) showing us their paper magic! Entries need to be uploaded by January 25th, midnight for the random prize draws.

Elspeth's challenge
At our last craft group get-together, Elspeth set the challenge, giving us a mini canvas and easel to play with! While I had the product out, doing Xmas boxes and cards, I decided to go with a similar theme.
I modge-podged a silver patterened tissue to the canvas, made a frame with texture paste, paint and glitters and then added the image, bling, a punched and glittered snowflake. I painted the easel with TH crackle paint and added the bows.
Happy 2011 everyone! x

SGC #9
I cant believe, at Southern Girls, we are up to Challenge 9 already!
Because it is such a busy time of year, Louise and Trace have made the topic easy! Anything Goes! Lou and Trace are sponsoring the INT entries and we are lucky enough to have a great sponsor for Aust/Nz entries, Deb's Creations! Check out, here, the amazing cards and layouts the DT have made with her very, very cute fairy digis. Below, in my layout I have used the very cute, Ebony! See if you can find her hiding in the garden!

Merry Christmas!
It is actually Boxing Day, but I hope everyone had a joyous family Christmas! I just love having the family get togethers at Christmas time and today, I am feeling very relaxed now everyone has gone home!!
Just a photo of the cards and boxes made at the last minute for the kids. I like to give them a Christmas decoration each year, so made these little boxes to put them in. These acetate cards were very quick to make. The snowflakes have tinsel glitter on them.

Off to sit outside in the shade and read a magazine! Such glorious weather!!
Cheers,
Sue
