All By Myself

Miss Independent wants to try everything and never sits still! She is such a joy to watch! Here she is holding on and so pleased with herself, even though she is too little yet, to push it along.

I bought some UmWow chipboard pieces from the new shop at Frosted Designs. Love them!!

The sketch I used is the awesome October one from Scrapfriends (but rotated it)

Combined with the cool tic-tac-toe challenge at 1-2-3 Get Scrappy. (stitching, colour orange, > 3 patterned papers)

This will probably be my last layout I get a chance to do this month, as we are off to Sydney for a week to spend time with my son and daughter-in-law and share a special birthday party with my twin brother!!

Cant wait!!

October OUAS - But..

There is another great challenge up at Once Upon A Sketch - a sketch challenge with journalling. This month's topic is a 'Journey'.

Little Miss M is crawling and has just begun to pull herself up. Pulling yourself up on the dog who decides to move is not the best choice, especially when he is beside the ranch slider tracks! So, her journey to walking will probably involve a few more bruises yet!

It is a little hard to see the bruises on her forehead as they were still coming out. I have put a tag behind the RH photo with the story.

This afternoon I am hiding away in my craft room while a group of rowdy boys are watching the Bathurst motor racing!! Last year they were there and I can hear lots of reminiscing!  Haha!

Mini Me

Our new little Grandson looks so like his Daddy! Jeff was cuddling him and playing with his hair, grooming it to "daddy style" !

I used the September sketch at 'Stuck?!' September 1st.
I am also joining The Frosted Designs Friday challenge, '3 x 3' (hearts, chevrons, arrows)
