GDT The Studio Challenges

My second layout as Guest Designer for The Studio Challenges Blog:
The challenge is to use patterned paper as your background.



My PP was rather overpowering, so I have sprayed and swiped white ink over to soften it. The word 'love' was part of the paper and I coloured it to use as part of my title.

GD for The Studio Challenges

I am thrilled to have been invited to be the Guest Designer at The Studio Challenges this month!! They have 2 interesting challenges a month and the first challenge for 2016 is a 'topic' challenge - Hopes and Dreams for 2016.




2016 is going to be exciting for us, with 2 more grandchildren on the way, so we are hoping for them all to be happy and healthy and for for us all to be able to spend lots of time together.

ARTastic January challenge

I am very excited to be sharing my first layout as a Design Team member for the challenge blog, ARTastic. Each month a work of art is put up as inspiration for your layout, with a little twist added.

This month's art work is a Bondi scene by Isabelle May Hunter Tweddle.
Criteria (twist) is to create a layout with a Summer Theme, inspired by the painting.

My layout:

I was inspired by the beach theme and the colours. I have used a Tim Holtz stencil with crackle texture paste and glitter swirls to mimic the waves.
